Accommodation

Pros:

• "The turnaround on impressions started at the pool which limits the time you can bring your children, followed by a restaurant staff that was absolutely rude."
• "We went for lunch in the hall on arrival and had to go looking for staff no one was behind the bar or anywhere to be seen."
• "Service was not good everyone we met was happiest to do the minimum possible."
• "Staff require training on how delivery an attentive service in a professional manner."

Facilities

Pros:

• "A* duck feeding experience, ask for feed at the reception counter."

• "Gym, pool and sauna were an added bonus with a high standard of attention to maintaining a clean and safe environment."
• "The swimming pool was open but you could only spend an hour but this was due to covid."
• "Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, oven n hob."
• "The spa consists of a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and small gym."

Cons:

• "The swimming pool needed to be booked in advance...which she attempted to do but it was fully booked so she was unable to use it at all."
• "Had a smart TV in room though this was not connected to Wi-Fi."
• "The pipes in the kitchen made some odd noises here and there, there were cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom and the shower/bath switch broke meaning we could only have a bath as the shower was leaking."

Pros:

• "A lovely quiet mansion/hotel/resort, the location is excellent."

• "Only downfall was that it was a little bit too remote as there wasn't a pub nearby with a safe public footpath."
• "You have to go down some treacherous 1 lane routes to get there."
