Accommodation

Pros:

• "Stayed in lodge overlooking the lake. Amazing view. Lodge was very clean & spacious.has everything we needed Hot tub was perfect."

Facilities

Pros:

• "The swimming pool was amazing 👏 clean and comfortable with a sauna and steam room, with a lifeguard stationed at all times."

Cons:

• "Nothing seemed updated and the place has deteriorated."
• "The resort is currently a building site and has been for years."
• "Remote location so everything is at least 20 minutes in a car."
• "The resort is quite a distance from any beach and will cost an arm and a leg for a taxi."
• "The resort was great in itself. However it is far from town and taxis charge an arm and leg."
• "Nice and quiet environment however too far from residential area making transportation and other amenities difficult if you are not mobile."
• "This isn’t a ‘resort’. It’s a glorified mobile home park. Over £3000 for 4 days. Absolute joke!"

Value for Money

Pros:

• "Beautiful place, would recommend it as it was lovely to arrive with complimentary bottle of bubbly, tea, coffee, biscuits, a box with a washing up liq, shampoo and conditioner (small bottles) nice comfy beds, and great to have a hot tub."

• "I don't think it is acceptable when you ask to book for two adults, two children and a dog to be given a price then when you go to book they add an extra £45 for the dog."

• "I will start with the price we paid, £9k for a 3 bed lodge for two weeks, no hot tub, no roof terrace. We booked 11 months in advance and you would expect to get a deal but after speaking with other guests on site who had booked last minute we paid nearly double what we should have!!"
• "Considering the prices the resort is charging for the properties, particularly for next year, you'd think that the swimming pool/ spa/ water activities would be included or at the very least a coupon given for your stay."
