Seating Comfort and Layout

Pros:

  • "The large recliner seats are super comfy and great that you can lift the arm rest up out of the way."
  • "Recliner seats are very comfortable, and you can properly stretch out - great for people with long legs!"
  • "Large armchair style seat that reclines using a button at the side. Table that swivels in front and they were so comfy."
  • "Every seat is a great seat, and if you’re looking for a more intimate cinema setting, you can’t beat this venue."

Cons:

  • "First we were told the reclining seats on our row weren't working in which they either offered a full refund or a ticket to another screening."
  • "The reclining seats are comfortable, although a bit creaky, but they could do with being a bit wider."
  • "Neither mine nor my partner's worked properly. They went about 1/4 of the way, then just stopped and refused to go up or down."
  • "Seats and atmosphere was great... however the projector was not properly aligned and cut of a portion of the screen on both sides."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "The staff were really great, all smiling and super friendly. Great interactions with them and Odeon should be very happy."
  • "Went with my brother who has learning disabilities, and once we bought tickets he had an episode and wouldn't watch the movie. Was given a full refund for tickets, drinks + popcorn."
  • "Staff were really welcoming and helped me, I have additional needs and they assisted me, nothing was too much bother."
  • "The staff have always been really patient, helpful and friendly. The manager there is very polite and kind towards his colleagues."

Cons:

  • "No way of hearing aids users to tune in to the sound system. Staff tried but they did not understand the gadget."
  • "Terrible experience. Unhelpful staff who couldn't be bothered to accommodate myself and my disabled wife."
  • "Tried to order food at the counter but was sent back to the touch screens which weren't accepting the qr code on our ticket."
  • "The experience was good and it was amazing as the seats where so good and comfy and I just like to say on the down size my boyfriend ordered two hot dogs and the waitress said they had no hot dog buns left so she was going to see if there was any and we where waiting fifty minutes."

Price and Value

Pros:

  • "But apparently the odeon club that you pay monthly, is really worth it if you're a regular cinema visitor."
  • "£17.99 a month for a limitless membership which includes Luxe cinemas is a brilliant deal and I would recommend it to any avid movie goers."
  • "We went for the first time on National Cinema Day using the reduced price offer. Lovely cinema with fabulous large cosy seats."
  • "Easily my favourite cinema... Obviously it can be a bit pricey if you don't have the membership but with the extra you pay you're getting more room and better seating."

Cons:

  • "Prices are pretty high imo at £22 per seat and then your nachos/ popcorn and then your parking it was literally a £70 film for two people."
  • "So expensive and the price of the food is so bad, especially considering the quality!"
  • "Overpriced. Pricing is expensive, at around £40 for two seats sometimes, while the vue in newcastle is £5 a ticket and the gala is even less."
  • "It's very expensive too... and while the seats were lovely, 90 quid for the family to go on a regular day is just too much."
