  • "It has been fully renovated and now sits in an impressive position at the bottom of Broad Street with views out to sea."

Cons:

  • "Rooms get very hot and stuffy if the weather is over 18-20 degrees and a fair amount of noise early in the morning due to the location right in the town centre."
  • "The huge wooden plant boxes are obstructive for the view - is it necessary to hide this beautiful panorama this way?"
  • "Tricky parking unless you're happy with a walk."
  • "A bit too cramped for large parties, and rather odd that you kind of have to go through the ladies' loo to get to the skittles alley."

  • "The food was either cold, sickly sweet or rubbery."
  • "The Sunday lunch was awful, it was cold and the beef was so thin it looked like it had come out of a tray from a supermarket."

  • "The food was terrible (the salad basically just 2 pieces of lettuce with sauce on top) and that's it."
