Customer Service

Pros:

  • "Super friendly staff! Very patient as they always answer all my extra questions over the phone or email."
  • "Arrived early doors on a Monday hoping to secure an emergency appointment for my cat who had injured their leg. Abbie on reception was empathetic and able to slot me in."
  • "I was really happy with the customer service at reception. I had some trouble with my app and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable or rushed."
  • "Staff always helpful. This time I just came to pick up flea and worming treatments but a few months ago one of my Dogs was attached so we turned up with no appointment and they did everything they could To help us."
  • "The staff are very prompt and polite in arranging an appointment."

Cons:

  • "I tried to call them. They put down the phone on me."
  • "They are very first to charge me and take all money for all possible tests and prescriptions etc., but could not accommodate at all to help with simple request which would help me to save money without any proper rationale."
  • "Couldn’t be more frustrating. Not professional, we booked a consultation and the vet does not know anything."
  • "The receptionist told me she only had one appointment left for the day but would not register me over the phone."
  • "I had a episode and panicked and was made to feel at ease and was assisited into a taxi so i could go home where i was met at the other end by my mum who helped me in the house so thank you all for the gelp that day..."

Pricing and Costs

Pros:

  • "Clinic charge £20 for prescription, but considering I need 6 months med supply it is still cheaper for me."
  • "My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which means she has to be on medication for the rest of her life and would need to repeat bloods every 6 months to see if dosage needs adjustment etc."
  • "I have just taken out a care plan and l am very happy with the service it provides. My dog vaccination was only 20 pounds which was amazing and l also got a 50 pound discount. Brilliant. Its a sevice l can afford. Thank you"
  • "Got an appointment within a week. Received emailed estimate and appointment reminders. Fully explained options and looked after my dog brilliantly. Hardly any scar and follow up appointments were friendly and informative"
  • "I only had to wait 10/15 minutes for my appointment . The Nurse who looked after Momo was lovely I ask her if she could cut his nails and she did straight away no questions asked."

Cons:

  • "It doesn't matter what your pet needs, they will look forward to making more profit from you till you get to 0£ or are tired of giving them money."
  • "They will offer treatments that are not needed 'just in case' and they will continue to use any opportunity to get money."
  • "I found it odd from the beginning that antibiotics cost £64. 20 mins after I went home I discovered that the actual price was roughly £5."
  • "The place runs like a sausage factory, with no one knowing what's going on. I took in my dog for treatment, and reminded staff 4 times of additional check up required, and did they do it? NO."
  • "Avoid them. Horrendous treatment of my cat. They treat your animal as a commodity; they called me 3 times while my poor cat was under anaesthetics asking me to pay extra which brought the cost of her operations 200£ up."

Veterinary Expertise

Pros:

  • "Their love and knowledge of animals is palpable."
  • "The vet was fantastic, she answered all our questions regarding Bruno and Bruno was happy enough to be around her."
  • "We’ve been so impressed with these vets. I have always been able to get a same day appointment for my cat, and every member of staff we’ve spoken to has been so lovely."
  • "The vet nurse (so sorry I don't know her name) who looked after our rabbit when he went in for a castration operation was very warm and friendly and really took the time to explain the procedure."
  • "I took in my cat as an emergency to see vet due to an on going problem, was told it had escalated and was given two options. Either pay £1500 up front for surgery or have my cat put down, I don’t have that kind of money especially during these tough times."

Cons:

  • "They will offer treatments that are not needed 'just in case' and they will continue to use any opportunity to get money."
  • "My cat died in my arms on the way."
  • "We booked a consultation and the vet does not know anything. They booked expensive check for our cat and then found out nothing."
  • "But vet wrote me a prescription for 30ml bottle and when I asked them if they could change prescription to say 100ml, they just refused without providing me rationale."
  • "Unfortunately we saw the vet Chana, who in my opinion is either in the wrong job or lacks the knowledge on how to speak to animals, let alone nervous animals."
