  • "Had eoin as my instructor, great lad from start to finish, presented the course very well, very instructive/informative."
  • "Both instructors were good at passing on their knowledge and providing enough advice along with Time on the bike before the ride out in the afternoon."
  • "Kenny was our instructor for the day and had a very relaxed yet serious approach to the course and it's modules in terms of explanation, demonstration and general instruction."
  • "Mainly had Ben as the instructor and he was top notch, couldn't have asked for a better instructor."

Cons:

  • "The instructors like to use colourful language and have little patience for people trying to learn a new skill."
  • "Out on the road during the CBT the instructor will aggressively swear and shout at you if you do something wrong."
  • "The instructors do not make it an enjoyable experience, I did not learn quickly but still passed first time but the whole time I hated it."
  • "The instructors are extremely arrogant."
  • "This instructor is a danger."
  • "The instructor I got was unprofessional, unpleasant and constantly being rude."
  • "If you like constant swearing, smoking, damaged bikes, negative comments and unprofessional-ism then go with these guys."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "On the first call the girl was really helpful and suggested a free pre-CBT lesson which no other school in the area offer."
  • "The office staff are great too! Davy and Katie are so helpful and were able to answer all my questions about the training etc."
  • "Communication leading up to it was excellent. Super fast response when contacted even though they were closed at the time."
  • "They were always quick to respond to emails and phone calls were always answered promptly."
  • "All the staff are great and will help you in any way they can, they worked around my schedule to fit in multiple lessons at once and are calm and patient with people not sure of the roads."
  • "Had to reschedule my training once girl in the office said if she can find someone to fill the spot she will rebook my training and she did no hassle πŸ’ͺ🏻"
  • "The office staff book everything you need, email you the dates and what you need to bring and the whole process is seamless."

Cons:

  • "Complained and offered nothing. Booked my mod 1 and 2 through them and they never booked them so lost my dates."
  • "Very poor service and never return emails or calls unless it's regarding money."
  • "The returns policy is also a complete joke. 10 working days and that's only if they find a replacement to take your spot."
  • "Just Avoid. The called me 2 times to come for training some other day, just giving 2 days notice... I was told that I need to give 10 days notice by a rude lady, Abigael."
  • "Terrible service counter staff are a joke."
  • "I wish I read the reviews before I attended as I wasn't happy with the way I was treated either."
  • "I reported my concerns to the receptionist at the time but it just made matters worse."

Training Experience

Pros:

  • "Done CBT and full access with Harley’s. Great experience, really liked everything - instructors different approach and learnings, bikes and most importantly passed all mods first time."
  • "Very well paced so we could learn each step and reflect before going back out."
  • "The priority is always safety and the lessons were always fun and informative."
  • "They genuinely want to give you the skills to ride safely on the road."
  • "The Knowledge, detailed information, practice and skills with tricks, techniques and tips I received in short time are amazing and splendid."
  • "Once you get out on the road you will pick it up really fast partly because you will be more confident than you expected but more importantly because your instructor is connected to you at all times and gives very clear instructions and will keep you right."
  • "Best training service around, very friendly and understanding, tailor courses and lessons to your needs."

Cons:

  • "Please save yourself disappointment and money by using one of the other more professional training bodies."
  • "Took my money for cbt also bike rental witch I never used."
  • "At 9:00, they discovered that they did not have enough helmets in the right size for everyone."
  • "However the lesson doesn't pass that day through their teaching skills. Paid 150 then got told to come back for more training which will cost 100 when I paid 150 to be taught."
  • "The returns policy is also a complete joke. 10 working days and that's only if they find a replacement to take your spot."
  • "Harley’s also run bargain-basement Lexmoto 125s for training ab initio riders and their communications equipment is awful - unintelligible PMR446 radios with bulky earpieces that are excruciating to wear under a helmet."
  • "Terrible experience with Harleys. Started off ok with CBT. On the bigger bikes (which are old and not in great condition) my instructor took 20-30 mins before finally starting the lesson."

Facility and Equipment

Pros:

  • "For an old short arse like me, this bike was surprisingly comfy and had a lower seat height, the road lesson was excellent as was the instructor."
  • "I brought my own bike and experienced a fault and they repaired it free of charge so that it would be safe for me to ride home after."
  • "The bikes they used are great too all new ones by looks of it."
  • "Both the free lesson and the road ride part of the CBT were done with Stuart who was just amazing from start to finish, he made everything so clear and easy to understand."
  • "Great service...great product..great value."
  • "Staff are great and price is competitive."
  • "The guys are knowledgeable and have a very calming influence."

Cons:

  • "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE I come from the other side of Glasgow (Knightswood) and could not find their premises until it was too late for my lesson so I missed my lesson."
  • "Harley’s premises in College Milton North East Kilbride is, to my mind, a bit rag-tag."
  • "There was an instance where the training pad was out of use and we were instructed to use an area just before the training pad that had parked lorries, containers, pedestrians and other hazards."
  • "Not to mention half price compare to some places."
  • "Once I had got my CBT certificate it was bittersweet as I did not have a bike but I managed to get a second hand 125cc for a good price in November."
  • "Avoid at all costs, the service is terrible, the training not much better."
  • "Without using foul language (unlike Harley's staff) they were a nightmare!"
