Seating Comfort

Pros:

  • "The seats are much more comfortable than a typical cinema."
  • "Seats were so comfortable."
  • "This cinema is so comfy! It gives you loads of leg room, a place to rest your feet off the ground."
  • "All screens have very comfy sofas which comfortably seat two or more, and the leg room is fantastically generous."
  • "Comfy home style sofas and complementary blankets."
  • "The seating is nice big comfy 2 person style sofas with cushions, side table etc."
  • "Comfy spacious sofas."

Cons:

  • "Table attached to seat was to share with person sitting next to me who put his arm across hence I had to hold my drink."
  • "If you do need to stay in a wheelchair then the disabled seats are VERY close to the screen making viewing less enjoyable."
  • "The ‘sofas’ are also far from comfortable so for these two reasons I can’t give 5 stars."
  • "It’s kind of annoying everyone eating meals during the film and the seats aren’t the most comfortable."
  • "Luxurious but can't see screen! Angle of seating more shallow than most cinemas so heads in front very much in the way."
  • "The only reason for 4, not 5 stars is the disabled access is incredibly difficult as the door is around the side, down a street with a very jumbled & broken pavement."
  • "The very worst thing was that the house lights were turned down so dark that there was zero chance of seeing the food we had ordered."

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "Staff who are friendly, attentive and helpful."
  • "Very polite staff."
  • "Polite helpful staff providing great service to your seat."
  • "Staff who are genuinely passionate about film, and ensuring you enjoy your visit."
  • "The staff were SO lovely!"
  • "Staff here are very friendly, very welcoming and accommodating."
  • "The staff are all lovely and very friendly and are there if you need anything."

Cons:

  • "Only slight criticism was that having insisted that we leave it to the staff to bring our drinks to our seats (a lovely idea in theory) the drinks didn’t arrive for at least 20 minutes by which time the film had already started."
  • "Staff could do with being a bit quicker on the service."
  • "Unfortunately, staff at the bar ruined what should have been an very nice movie afternoon."
  • "I had no idea which screen I was meant to go to as there was no indication anywhere."
  • "When I was leaving the screen however, I overheard one of the managers denying some staff their breaks."
  • "First of all, we have been served by a drunk employee, still drinking while taking order."
  • "The only downside was we wanted a drink when we came out of the film at 22.10 to find the bar was 'closed' despite staff being behind it."

Food and Drink

Pros:

  • "Food and drink were very well priced and delivered to your seat."
  • "Pizza was tasty 🍕 and cookie dough was a great treat for after 🍪."
  • "All the food we ordered was great, and despite the cinema being pretty full almost everyone was served before the movie started."
  • "The sweet potato fries and the hummus with flatbread are delicious."
  • "Great burgers and beers whilst waiting."
  • "Food was delicious and amazingly price."
  • "Food and drink is nice, particularly for a cinema."

Cons:

  • "Milkshakes were a little underwhelming."
  • "The wine in particular is astonishingly mediocre."
  • "The popcorn was cold and didn’t taste fresh, and a lot of the desert options weren’t available."
  • "Food and drink service was chaotic, my food arrived in parts so by the time I had all my food, half of it had gone cold."
  • "No non-alcoholic beer, no mineral water, no tomato juice (even though Bloody Mary on the menu), couldn’t manage the burger I ordered, no hot dog buns for the hot dogs."
  • "Food was such a disappointment."
  • "The prices for food and drink are offensive. £8.50 for a large wine is simply robbery, even by city standards!"

Value and Experience

Pros:

  • "Best cinema experience I've had."
  • "Superb cinema experience."
  • "Bloody expensive, so I won't go often, but as a treat, I'd say it's the best cinema experience in Bristol."
  • "Such a cool cinema... feels independent."
  • "5* cinema."
  • "A fantastic cinema experience."
  • "Best cinema I have ever been to!"

Cons:

  • "2 cinema tickets, 2 burgers with fries and 2 cocktails. How much? £106!"
  • "You need to have night vision plus more money than sense to go here. Never again."
  • "The only slight flaw to me is the slightly high ticket price."
  • "Also SO expensive for stale cold popcorn, absolutely gutted to be honest."
  • "There's no getting around the fact that you pay more here than at a standard no fuss cinema."
  • "Quite pricey, though that is admittedly true for cinema in general these days."
  • "This cinema is a bit steep on the price spectrum."

Pros:

Cons:

  • "A nice experience but needs a few improvements."
  • "Felt venue was a bit in need of a makeover."
  • "Nice setting but so confusing to figure out where the screen is and how it all works etc, no communication from staff."
  • "I was looking forward to this experience but was a little disappointed. Felt venue was a bit in need of a makeover."
  • "Only issue is there are a lot if steps to get inside, tricky with a pram."
  • "Do not, I repeat, do not order the cookie dough."
