Customer Service

Pros:

  • "The reception staff always greet me and say goodbye."
  • "I am really enjoying my membership at the Kingston David Lloyd. All of the staff members are super helpful, especially Hannah."
  • "I'm not normally a person that write reviews the simple fact I always forget to, but in particular to this day I was having a not so great day I would like to say Emily presented excellent customer service it was warming on how lovely and polite she was and I can't forget the divine smoothie she recommended, thanks Emily for making a not so great day better!"

Cons:

  • "Every time something is not working at the gym. Dirty changing room and pool area."

  • "On the jacuzzi the dirt floats on the surface."
  • "Most of the time the jacuzzi is broken."
  • "The quality of the gym had decreased slightly and there are a few things that require urgent maintenance as DL looks a bit too used and there are also some broken machines that take honestly too long to fix."

  • "They will get you to sign a 12 month agreement and they will chase you for payment."
  • "The only problem is the membership is expensive, so to access all facilities is £179 pm or £99 for off peak basic membership without the Spa area."
  • "Sent an email last year to cancel my membership did the 3 month cancellation notice. Still to this day they are taking money out of my account."
  • "I will Never be a membership of David Lloyd again, they never let you cancel your membership."
  • "Their sales reps neglect to mention that you could be tied in for a full year before joining."

  • "Do not join this club. I tried to leave due to a drop in income after 2 years there, and provided evidence. They told me I must pay an increased rate and a full 3 months and sent it very quickly onto a debt collectors."

Personal Training & Classes

Pros:

  • "I decided to sign up for a personal trainer whilst a member at David Lloyd Kingston. More than just looking to improve my fitness, I wanted to gain a better life balance given my busy work life and therefore chose Jorge Castaño due to his experience and expertise with motivation and lifestyle fitness training."
  • "I would highly recommend this gym & for a PT go to Dan Cater his session are fun but he makes you work hard."
  • "Great sessions which are fun & different and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an awesome personal trainer."

  • "I’m really disappointed with DL Kingston. They now offer multiple virtual cyclone (cycling) classes and only a bare minimum of instructor led ones."

  • "The gym is overrun with school kids who hog machines at peak time, and never put weights back often leaving them lying across the gym floor."

  • "As well as that- quite dirty bathrooms and always broken Jacuzzi and sauna. Not worth its money."
  • "Change room very dirty no deep cleaning, swim pool grills of ac full of dust, very disappointed about this gym I will not recommend to anyone."
  • "I have found parts of female's wigs in the pool at least twice."
  • "In London I have never seen the showers being cleaned in kingston or Fulham (that's 6 months)."
