Customer Service
Pros:
"Throughout the process I dealt with Chris, Andrew, and at handover, Aaron; all were excellent... friendly and helpful without 'pushing'."
"Aaron was the gentleman who helped answer all our questions, he has fantastic when explaining all financial paperwork and left no stone unturned."
"Great place, they have lots of new & used bikes for sale. I highly recommend this place the staff are friendly & very helpful."
"Really easy to talk to and so helpful. It's how a bike shop should be run."
"Communication was fantastic throughout the process and the excellent service I received from Andrew the sales manager has already sealed the deal on returning for another motorcycle in the future."
"Craig, the General Manager was both professional and reassuring. During the 30-minute test ride with escort to show me the best route in an unknown area, my wife and pooch were also given the VIP treatment."
"Aaron was superb. He was both friendly and professional which lead me though the process of buying a new bike with ease."
"Fantastic service from the start. Haven't bought a new motorcycle for 20 years or so and it was a pleasure Andrew and Charlene made the new purchase very easy and relaxed."
"Really great bike shop. The service I got from Arran when I bought my bike was excellent. He even makes a great cup of tea."
Cons:
"Approached a gentleman who said there was only one salesman available but he was going into a sales meeting... Waited around- no sign, so I left. A few hours later he phoned, apologised and said it got busy! Then offered a very low part exchange for my bike without even seeing it."
"When I arrived I was the only person in the showroom apart from a salesperson behind the desk... When he did look up it was obvious that I was less important than texting and treated me like I'd pissed in his tea."
"Whilst they are always friendly while browsing, found on that particular day to be very rude, not even willing to spend a few minutes to help a two-time customer with general advice."
"I can't recommend highly enough! The service and advice were excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending KTM's, I've had lots of bikes and nothing has put such a grin on my face as this bike!"
Quality of Bikes
Pros:
"Great selection of bikes, can't say I was impressed with the prices of the bikes, but that was my first impression, but the main reason for losing two stars for me was the staff seemed totally uninterested that I was a very serious customer and they just stood around talking."
"Great selection of bikes, and a few rare ones too. Will definitely be back, and wouldn't hesitate buying from these guys."
"Great guys, very knowledgeable, really friendly, one of the nicest bike shops I have been to in some time. Thanks for the coffee and chat. Superb range of mint low mileage bikes, and a few rare ones too."
"The showroom was really nice and welcoming with a great selection of bikes to peruse. Arran, the salesman, was the consummate professional and a real pleasure to deal with."
"I bought my latest bike through the lockdown video service with the help of Rowan, great service, easy process, good communication throughout, also thanks to the knowledgeable guy who they use for delivery good experience all round thanks."
"Nice display areas for various Bike manufacturers. Staff are helpful without being intrusive. Lovely smell of motorbikes as you walk through the doors. Seems pretty good....and will hopefully be confirmed after a bike service scheduled for August 2020."
Cons:
"Absolutely brilliant place, had a great experience, I walked in looking for my first 125,I am 47 by the way, I was introduced to Arran who asked me questions to tailor fit my needs, I was shown various bikes and was encouraged to sit on and get a feel, Arran took a photo so that I could see the fit from the side which was helpful, I was conscious that I am an older chap looking for a 125 and didn't want to look a 'bit too young' A bike was chosen and the deal was done,,"
"Sold me a 'brand new' bike which was 'tested' before being sent to me. Turns out the speedo doesn't work, brakes and rear brake light are faulty, and the wheel bearings are constantly screeching. When I ask to get the speedo fixed I'm told it's not vital and to not expect it to work. Don't get scammed, go in person, test it yourself. Or better yet go somewhere better."
Value for Money
Pros:
"I bought my latest bike through the lockdown video service with the help of Rowan, great service, easy process, good communication throughout, also thanks to the knowledgeable guy who they use for delivery good experience all round thanks."
"Excellent, smooth and uncomplicated process when purchasing my pre-owned ZX10r. Rowan and the team communicated the process of purchase and delivery very well, and all was provided and delivered as promised (Bike delivered within 7 days of purchase)."
"I would never imagine to purchase a motorbike over the phone without trying it or looking at it. First, I texted on Sunday Andrew and was given all the info I needed while the shop closed, then next day agreed with the purchase with Rowan. He was absolutely friendly, professional, and ready to answer all my questions and concerns as I have never purchased anything expensive over the phone."
Cons:
"Purchased a 2019 Triumph Tiger 1200 from Potteries Motorcycles, bike had only covered 900 miles, the advertised bike was fitted with full luggage in the advert pictures, agreed to buy the bike, paid them the full screen price for the bike, when the bike was delivered it arrived with no spare keys and the plate that fitted the Givi top box to the rack was missing, quite disappointing considering it was fitted in the pictures!"
"I can't praise these guys enough. Part exchanged old bike against new one from them, easy pleasant transaction from Arran in sales to Craig the manager. Live 225 miles from the showroom and was very pleased that bike was all they said it was. Totally trustworthy."
