Staff and Service Quality
Pros:
"Luis, the vet, managed to comfort my nervous cats and gave them the treatments easily & gently."
"The young nurse knew my dog from a previous visit, she was fabulous with her, least stressful vets visit ever with her."
"Both the Reception Staff and the nurse I met were professional, friendly and kind."
"The vet was friendly whilst keeping social distance. He was thorough, and kept me informed throughout the visit, explaining the medication, how to use it, and how long it would take to see a change."
"Both the Vet and Nurse took time to fuss over Alfie and build trust before they examined him and due to this, he was happy to then be examined."
"The vetinary nurses are also so nice to me putting me at complete ease during any visit."
"The vet - Rachel Bermingham - was very kind with the cat, took time over examination, gave a clear diagnosis and explained the treatment options very clearly."
Cons:
"The so called vet told us the cat had a disease! This was a made up speech."
"It’s Thursday I’ve rung everyday and spoke to someone who tells me different every time I ring! Wouldn’t recommend not great service at all."
"They were the only vets open at the weekend, my dog needed to see a vet as an emergency... I called Vets4Pets to see if they could help and was told NO!"
"Practice was filthy dirty."
"They are more interested in your money than your pets, no empathy at all."
"One visit involved a life-threatening condition for my dog who had tests done - when the test results returned the vet was very reluctant to talk us through the results."
"The junior vets at this practice misdiagnosed a lump on my dogs rear end."
Facility and Comfort
Pros:
"The waiting area was clean but think could be made bit friendly for different size animals as there was very large dog barking & gave Hugo (rabbit) quite a scare!"
"Clean, tidy and sterilized."
"Pet friendly with water and treats around store."
"The set up appears to put less stress on the animals, with cats and dogs at different ends of the practice."
"Not overpriced at all, all in all a good experience compared to other vets I’ve been to :)"
Cons:
"I had to wait over 20 minutes pass my appointment time in a waiting area that smelt overpoweringly of dog poo."
"The reception area smelt really strongly of urine, as did the whole of the store."
"Good service, however it is inside a pet shop so the waiting area is a little exposed and rather tight on space this became very loud when 2 dogs arrived at the same time, this really stressed 3 month old kitten."
"3* because they don't have ours dog food (well they just don't supply) and that vet waiting area in my opinion should be bigger."
Cost and Value
Pros:
"At last a vet not charging a ridiculous consultation fee."
"Loads of stock, great value - even better if you sign up to VIP deals."
"Very reasonable with any treatment you need for pets and also great if you have insurance as they deal direct."
"The price is great very reasonable and even when there is a larger bill its explained out so no hidden costs."
"Impressive considering she had no history, and excellent value."
Cons:
"The price I paid for this was ridiculous."
"Scared to go in there with their sky high prices. Meds are charged at 6 times the price you can get elsewhere."
"Sunday service was very poor & pricy."
"MONEY STEALERS!!! What would have costed me £120, now costed me almost £250!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS!!!!"
"Just recently had a bad experience with Vets4Pets got a massive bill and no results."
Compassion and Care
Pros:
"Bella was let free of her pain and suffering with me by her side, the staff were professional and from the moment she arrived, her needs were taken care of first, and thats just what i would want."
"But the vets and nurses and receptionist was so love and compassionate and they explained everything and were so patient with me and my family whilst we said goodbye to Molly."
"You couldn't ask for a more caring team of people to look after your pet."
"All the staff at Vets for Pets deserve a great big thank you, they treated my dog Bingo with complete dignity and compassion."
"Sadly I had to have my dog put down recently, however considering what an emotional wreck I was taking my dog in the whole team at vets4pets were brilliant, they kept a look out for us and we were taken straight in and the vet and nurse were caring and sympathetic."
"They were very kind and caring to both Sugar and myself taking the time to reassure and explain the process of Sugar’s treatment."
"Even when we had to have our 2 eldest dogs put to sleep, all of the staff were very tentative and sympathetic."
Cons:
"BE CAREFUL! A year ago tomorrow I lost my Darling Cat sky due to diabetes... When I collected my baby girls ashes it wasn't there!"
"The most horrible vets for pets I have ever been to, my dog is been scratching so much and they have done nothing to help her apart from taking my money and no treatment for my poor puppy."
"Never ever go to this place, went to Crawley Branch, they are more interested in your money than your pets."
"Rubbish!! All they want is money. My poor dog has deteriorated since seeing them."
"The nurse would not let me attend with my puppy even though I expressed my concern over scaring the pup on his first visit & making him fearful of future visits."
