"Some reception staff are very rude and dont seem interested or dont go that little extra."
"Very unprofessional receptionist."
"Pathetically slow service, its normally really slow anyway which I can deal with but this covid situation has turned them into babies like the rest of the world."
"But your reception staff however are very rude! Blunt and not welcoming no smiles."
Quality of Veterinary Care
Pros:
"First time I had to used the PDSA and it was amazing service from start to finish."

"Did everything they could for my dog don't think she'd be with us today if it wasn't for the great work the vets did."
"Attended with our dog after hours (arranged through VetsNow as an emergency appointment). The vet saw us really quickly and was very attentive."
"A vet called at 7pm to give me the details of her surgery and recovery."
"The vets were lovely who we're seeing to my bunny this is the first time I've never had to come to the Pdsa and was so grateful for the service very welcoming and reassuring everything will be ok."
"An A & E for pets after Vets close. Looked after our Cockapoo he couldn't put weight on his front paw so they gave him pain relief."
Cons:
"Took my dog and when I was waiting outside the vet slammed a cat carrier down with the cat inside on the table causing the cat to cry out this was in out of hours it was horrible."
"They don't give you an option for no stars or minus stars which is what you deserve.. last night I turned up my cat who was struggling during labour to be told she was happy and healthy and perfectly fine and would have her kittens naturally you then gave her 10ml of oxytocin to help her, and told me to leave her and let her birth them."
"I wish there was a 0 to be honest. I took my cat down who is 9 months old and he was in a very bad way they had him for not even 5 minutes and had told me that he was fine."
"Absolutely disgusting service! Some changes need making and new people on reception.. rang and took my cat in with paw injury they barely looked and just put bandage on they didn't even clean it."
"I didnt like the phone consult, because the miss diagnosed my cats illness, said she had cystitis, but when I gave a urine sample, it seems she had a bad infection."
"Bad experience. Twice. I had a 5 week old kitten at the time who was very weak, not eating and always sleeping. After several attempts at getting through to reception, they hung up so I took him down instead."
"Unfortunately had to put our meg to sleep. The staff delt with the situation very professionally and I was impressed with that."
Accessibility and Communication
Pros:
"It accept people on benefits which helps all kind and working people because I know it can be expensive."
"Above and beyond what you'd expect considering you pay what you can afford."
"A place to take your pets. A contribution is ideal as the PDSA do not get any monies from the government."
"As a pensioner I can’t afford fancy vets bills, but I am never made to feel the lesser because of my situation."
"They take great care of my animals. Handy if you are on the housing element of Universal Credit as the charity helps cover some of the costs."
"Medication given at a fraction of the cost of normal vets, donations accepted instead of normal consultation fees."
"My dog would have passed away if it wasn't for their help. Being on universal credit I can only make a donation to the medicine she needs."
