Store Atmosphere and Design

Pros:

  • "Very sleek and modern look which fits well with the brand."
  • "The two story store had a live dj playing primarily British hiphop which was a really nice touch."
  • "The store itself is nice and a bit different, with a juice bar and a small gym area for demos."

Cons:

  • "Completely non intuitive layout of the clothes, male and female clothes randomly mixed together."
  • "The layout of the store is at best confusing - there's no signage to show that the men's clothes (or indeed any clothes) are upstairs so we spent 2 mins aimlessly walking around downstairs trying to find where to go."
  • "Interesting store, but there is more useful information on the website. Lots of young staff chatting to each other and zero customer engagement."

Customer Service

Pros:

  • "The staff was very friendly and insightful regarding the classes, especially the girl who checked out my purchase."
  • "Special shout out to Zak and Thomas for helping me with my purchases."
  • "Big shout out to everyone at Gymshark, customer service was top notch, quick and speedy help from everyone that works there."

Cons:

  • "There are far too many staff, that just seem to want to stand around and talk amongst themselves."
  • "The staff here are so so nice and friendly. However I would suggest to re arrange the payment queue as the line would intervene with people looking around and it can get quite long."
  • "Went into the store on a Saturday morning and the idea of having a store is great, I was able to try on the clothing before purchasing which made it easier but the staff were super unhelpful."

Product Range and Stock

Pros:

  • "Quality of clothes really good, I like it."
  • "Their range of products is top-notch, and the items are always durable and of high quality."
  • "Great selection of apparel and very friendly and knowledgeable staff."

Cons:

  • "The choices are obviously better online as per any store nowadays."
  • "They had plenty of small sizes, quite a few xxl, the odd medium but no large or xl that I could find, so I left empty-handed."
  • "Only sizes available on racks were either XS or XXL or XXXL nothing in medium or large."

Fitting Room Experience

Pros:

  • "I loved lightning in fitting rooms - you can change colours."
  • "The changing rooms are cool with the mood lights."
  • "The changing rooms are nothing like I’ve ever seen before, with the different lighting modes and assistance button!"

Cons:

  • "The woman coordinating the changing rooms was officious, I couldn't accompany my daughter and was allowed to wait nearer than other shopping companions but only under sufferance. She was rude in the extreme."
  • "While I was in the changing room itself, I realised I needed a different size. I pressed the button which is supposed to notify staff you need assistance and I was completely ignored, yet I could hear the staff gossiping and flirting with each other at the entrance to the changing rooms."
  • "Had to queue and wait a couple of minutes to pay as there was only a one guy on the checkout."
