Facilities and Cleanliness
Pros:
"All the equipment is really clean and well looked after which is a pleasant surprise compared to some of the soft plays we have been to."
"The branch is very clean and welcoming. There’s plenty of space and a great range of equipment for the children to enjoy."
"Very clean, and a lovely atmosphere, staff members are great and helpful."
"This place is always clean, tidy, and the friendliest staff I've ever known at a play area."
"Visited today 3 Senior Ladies 3 children 1 under 2 great place for all of them. Staff excellent so friendly and helpful."
Cons:
"Considering how many children attend with their families, there really needs to be more toilet and baby changing facilities."
"We found the toddler area to not be as clean, for example, dust and crumbs in the crevices of steps and cushions."
"Fair enough the price is very reasonable for a 14 month old, but the actual toddler/baby area is a joke! It’s really just an empty bare space with cushioned mats."
Staff and Customer Service
Pros:
"The staff are also really friendly and helpful which is a bonus."
"Staff are friendly and attentive, welcoming us each time and remembering our children."
"Had a joint birthday party for my kids, staff were beyond helpful and very informative."
"Thank you so much Emily and Raquel. You were most helpful and understanding today."
"Charlie, Amy & Kristen really looked after us all and were great from the off."
Cons:
"Attended with my under 1 year old and my 3 year old. Stood at the gate for ages before a member of the public informed me you can enter and pay at the counter - staff just leave you standing there."
"Went to a pirate event the other day, only one banner on display, one bag of sand to play in a swimming pool and hardly anything happening. Management could learn to smile and treat the staff better."
"I attended Frankie and Lola’s in Walsall with my partner and 7 month old son expecting there to be a nice quiet space for babies with a ball pit and possibly a slide. Instead what I saw was an area filled with blocks that no baby would be able to move or play with, and there were several older children playing in this area too."
Value for Money
Pros:
"Staff are friendly and attentive, welcoming us each time and remembering our children (we go regularly due to have a pass which is such good value for money!)"
"Great little soft play for toddlers- the interactional cubes are fantastic for your little ones. Weekends here are not suitable for under 3 years unfortunately. Cafe is good with a wide variety of food, drinks and cake."
"Both my kids always have a great time here. I love the range of plays so there is a softer range of play for various ages and the children are more inclined to stay in there age bracket."
Cons:
"Over priced. We came today from Shropshire I paid nearly £16 for 2 children under 3. Nice and clean but over priced compared to others with food and drinks was an expensive few hours."
"Attended with my under 1 year old and my 3 year old. Stood at the gate for ages before a member of the public informed me you can enter and pay at the counter - staff just leave you standing there. Entry plus a fruit shoot cost me £19! Very overpriced for a standard soft play."
"I am currently sat in Frankie and Lola’s with my partner and daughter. There was just a child who was upset and their mother was busy feeding their small sibling…one of the staff members (Millie) was lovely and checked on the little girl, cheered her up and then went down the slide with her! I can’t recommend this place enough I love it and so does my daughter."
Food and Beverage
Pros:
"The food menu is also really good and comprehensive with something to suit all diets."
"Food optioned were very basic and the croissant was just warmed up from a packet on the counter. My son enjoyed it and the feeling of being able to play without mom helping."
"Nice, clean play centre and friendly staff. Simple to get into as the car park is directly attached and it's has a big open space so you can easily see where the kids are. Decent selection of food and reasonable priced."
Cons:
"Food is also over priced and not very good - chicken nuggets were burnt to the point I couldn’t cut them and the portions are tiny."
"My son said this is the smallest pizza ever.. Never to come here again. Not only that he was trying to chew the pizza or whatever it was I was told the chef will attend to answer what this actually was but obviously no chef...worst of all paid £4.75 and the little one remained hungry so we had to leave so I could feed him properly."
"One of the worst experiences in my life. I just ate a piece of cake from a plate that smelled like vomit, meaning it wasn't washed properly."
